$10K reward award for information in Tifton arson investigation

TIFTON, Ga.  – A significant reward is being offered for information related to an arson incident in Tifton.

On Thursday, July 11, around 5:45 p.m., State Fire Marshal investigators were dispatched to a structure fire on the 4000 block of Emerson O’Bynes Avenue. The building, which was under construction at the time, was unoccupied, according to the fire marshal’s office.

The investigation has prompted officials to offer a reward.

“A reward of up to $10,000 is available for information that leads to the arrest and prosecution of those responsible for arson. Callers may remain anonymous,” stated Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner John F. King.
